Castle Mall
Lighting up for Christmas 2015!
NES was tasked with the recladding of the architecturally important Back of Inns entrance to the Castle Mall Shopping Centre in Norwich city centre.
The façade is clad with mirror polished, silver anodised 3mm J57s aluminium that has been water jet cut with filigree perforations.
We have also mounted LED Light Boxing in behind them. These LEDs have an orange film to create a glow. The LEDs deliver spectacular evening visuals and pick up the line of the old ridged façade.
The columns are clad in power coated white matt finish aluminium on their upper sections to refract light from the eliptical lensed downlighting LEDs. The lower sections are clad in Rimex canvas finish 316 grade stainless steel.
To the left and right of the main entrance the filigree perforation is imitated with a two colour powder coating process.
The 3D design is particularly sophisticated. Illuminated soffit cladding and the illuminated columns will also be installed for the 15st November 2015
